FrostWire Basic is a full-featured BitTorrent Client & SoundCloud Downloader with built-in media player
There are lots of torrent clients out there all doing more or less the same job but with varying degrees of usability. Frostwire is one of the better offerings combining torrents with a handy media player and search engine. The main strength of Frostwire is having all your tools in one place making torrents more like a total media service than simply a download.
Strong features strong layout
Frostwire was clearly built by people who download torrents and wanted to improve the process. The app layout is nice with navigation options and a list view to keep track of your files. In many ways it's a media library as much as a downloading tool. Download settings and locations are fully customisable. The big features however are a media player which has all the same options as any standard player plus the ability to preview files before they finish downloading and in-app search. The latter lets you find torrents within the client instead of trawling the web. Very efficient but may get stuck if sites are blocked by your ISP.
The total package
The real benefit of Frostwire is that it's a complete package letting you find download and play files without having to switch windows or programs. However for those who already have their favourite browser and media setups this is just another torrent client.
